Welcome to my website!
I’m a fantasy/horror author, who dreams wildly and writes chaotically. If my life had to be summed up in one word, that would be it: chaos.
Please take a look at my work, my random thoughts, and my latest news – often posted late, but hey, better late than never right?”

Synthetica is a great read, it has all my favourite book components, dystopia/utopia setting, crazy tech, hint of romance, scary villain and a great female lead.
This is such a fun and exciting read. As soon as I read the plot I was hooked. Straight away it sounded like a Young Adult/Science Fiction/1984/ technology taking over mash up of entertainment, and it completely is. Synthetica will have you caught up straight away, and leave you eagerly anticipating the sequel.
This book reads easy, fast and is filled with plenty of action. I was hooked from the first sentence and found myself accompanying Anais on her journey.
My First Royalties
Last week I decided to start changing my Amazon page over to my new pen name. I haven’t actually logged onto KDP for years (that’s apparently what having a baby/moving house/starting several new jobs etc does to me – but then again, I already knew I’d accidentally let...
About Writing
Lately I’ve felt a bit overwhelmed and under motivated. I don’t know if it’s because I’m so sick of winter, which always gets me down anyway, or life in general or what. I know I’ve been procrastinating on my fantasy novel - I’m chopping slowly away at it but to be...

What to do when you don’t want to write *that* book
Last week I mentioned how I wrote down my writing goals for this year. My goals so far consist of: Earning at least £500 from freelancing Submitting a new Arts Council submission for funding (make sure you check out this post to see if I’m successful this time...
New year, new goals
It’s another new year, which can only mean one thing – it's time to set some goals! No, I don’t mean resolutions. If you want to know more about my feelings on resolutions, then you can read my post here. As someone who loves lists and plans and bullet points, I’ve...
The universe (and puzzle pieces) work in mysterious ways
It was my birthday last month (hooray for December babies! It's cold! It's dark! No one has any money!) and one the gifts I received from my sister was a 'World of Dracula' jigsaw. I was SO EXCITED when I unwrapped it – I love jigsaws, I love vampires, it was totally...
